What does Photojournalism mean?

Photojournalism does not mean just employing someone who has worked in the newspaper business. It means that the images are candid shots. You should know that photos are being taken even if the photographer’s not calling out orders to smile.
Candid photos are natural and show honest emotion.

Recognitions

In 2007, I placed fourth out of 127 photographers in the international Airscene 2008 Calendar Competition.
In 2006, I competed in the Kansas Press Association’s annual competition for Junction City’s newspaper The Daily Union.
I placed third place for a photo package I shot and designed, and the paper was awarded with first place for design and layout (90 pecent of my job).
